Below, we will take a look at the various supported device types supported by the ZENNER Datahub. These are typically:
LoRaWAN® Devices

LoRaWAN devices are battery-powered, wireless sensors and meters that transmit data over long distances using the LoRaWAN protocol. They are designed for data collection in IoT applications as LoRaWAN is a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN), which enables long battery life and long ranges. LoRaWAN sensors can measure a great variety of parameters, including temperature, humidity, light, CO₂, motion, vibration and flow.
NB-IoT Devices

NB-IoT devices are sensors and meters that use Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) technology to transmit data via mobile networks. They are particularly suitable for applications in the Internet of Things (IoT) where low energy consumption, long range and easy installation play a role.
Metering/OMS Devices

OMS devices (Open Metering System) are sensors and meters that use an open, manufacturer-independent communication standard for recording and transmitting measurement data, particularly in the field of smart metering. This standard, which is based on European standardization, enables the integration of different measurement media such as electricity, gas, heat and water into a common system.
