Tenants – What and Why
The following provides a brief overview of what tenants are, what our tenant structure looks like and why they are necessary:
- The LoRaWAN network of the Brunata Minol ZENNER Group is divided into individual areas that are assigned to specific tenants.
- Infrastructure components, like Gateways, and Devices are then created in the respective tenant and access is only possible from this tenant.
- Users are created for each tenant and only have access to this tenant. This protects data.
- Devices can still access the entire network when sending, so the best possible network coverage is still achieved.
- We distinguish between the UAA tenant(s) and the Customer tenants, which we will explain in more detail in the following sections.
- Every time you need a new one, you have to request a new tenant from the ZENNER Connect Team.
